Are you a passionate Sports Coach looking to bring your energy and enthusiasm into schools? Do you enjoy working with young people and want a role where you can make a real impact every day?
Smile Education is working with a number of secondary schools across Wolverhampton to recruit motivated and reliable Sports Coaches to support both PE lessons and general classroom cover.
The Role This is a varied and rewarding position where you will:
- Support and deliver PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Lead sports sessions, activities, and games
- Step into classroom-based cover when required (full support provided)
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour
- Act as a positive role model for students
About the Schools You’ll be working across a network of supportive secondary schools in Wolverhampton, all with strong leadership teams and a focus on student engagement and wellbeing. These schools value energetic, reliable individuals who can build rapport quickly and bring a positive presence to the school environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Coaching experience or a background in sports/fitness
- Experience working with young people (schools, clubs, or similar)
- Confident managing groups and leading activities
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- A passion for inspiring and motivating students
