Smile Education are proud to be supporting a Smethwick based Primary School in the appointment of a part time School Administrator.

Are you an experienced Education based administrator? Are you familiar with IT programmes such as SIMS and Parent Pay?

The School Leadership Team wish to appoint a dedicated and experienced Administration Assistant to join their vibrant team on a part-time basis, working 2 says per week (Tuesday and Thursday). This position, commencing in December 2023, will include several responsibilities including data input, utilisation of IT systems (including Microsoft Office and SIMS) and contributing to the efficiency of the schools’ administrative processes.

Role and Responsibilities:

-        Part time Administrative Assistant – Tuesday and Thursday
-        Working hours 8.15am – 4pm
-        Commence December 2023 – long term, ongoing role
-        Data input / data management
-        Filing / record keeping
-        Working as part of a busy team providing support to colleagues and staff
-        Utilising IT systems including SIMs, Parent Pay and Microsoft Office

Qualifications and Experience:
-        Previous experience in a School / Education administrative position is required
-        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-        Proficiency in IT systems including SIMS and Microsoft Office
-        Excellent time management skills
