We are seeking a
compassionate and motivated Pastoral Support Officer to join a dedicated pastoral team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young people emotionally, socially and academically in a positive school environment.

School-based experience is not essential — full training and ongoing support will be provided.
About the role As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will:
- Provide emotional and pastoral support to students
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to support wellbeing, behaviour and engagement
- Support students during the school day, including transitions and intervention sessions
- Help students develop confidence, resilience and positive relationships
- Work closely with teaching staff, SEN and safeguarding teams
- Support behaviour strategies and positive routines across the school

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check (can be processed if required)
- A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
- Availability during school hours (flexible options available)
