Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor - Loughborough
Smile Education is partnering with a leading secondary school near Loughborough to welcome dynamic Cover supervisors/Sports Coaches to their team starting after Christmas, Jan 2026. If you're passionate about inspiring young minds through movement, fitness, and creative expression, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Sports Coach/ Cover Supervisor, you will lead engaging PE and core curriculum sessions, delivering pre-planned lessons that align with the curriculum. Your role is to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, keeping students motivated while ensuring high levels of participation and classroom management. You may also be asked to cover general subject lessons, ensuring students remain on task and engaged in their learning.
You’ll be joining a fun, dedicated, and professional team that will support you in reaching your full potential while making a meaningful impact on students' confidence, teamwork, and physical development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Dance, Sports Science, Performing Arts)
- Strong knowledge of movement, fitness, or dance techniques in an educational setting
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate students
- A passion for working with young people and fostering a love for sports and dance
