Music Teacher with QTS

Smile are currently working exclusively with the Mowbray Education Trust to find a Music Teacher to work in one of their primary schools after May Half Term!

The school is in the heart of Melton, and they are looking for a talented Music Teacher to come on board to support across EYFS, and KS1&2! The trusts vision is to deliver first-class teaching and learning with integrity. This means that every young person attending their schools, regardless of background or ability, receives a first-class education - an exciting time to join the team!

This role is PPA cover for 5 weeks working Mon-Wednesday starting from Monday 5th June! However, get in touch now as there will be lots of opportunities to work with us at Smile across the trust before this starts too!

Your Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects and age groups
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success
  • Adapt to diverse teaching styles and classroom settings
  • Support the academic and social development of students
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans according to the Charanga Music Scheme that cater to the diverse learning styles of the students

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications are valued.
  • Experience working in UK schools
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments
  • A background in Music
  • An understanding of the Charanga Musical School scheme is desirable!
