Are you an experienced SENCO ready to make a strategic impact across a school community?
Smile Education is working with schools across the West Midlands seeking exceptional Special Educational Needs Coordinators operating at leadership level. These roles offer the opportunity to shape inclusive practice, drive SEND strategy, and ensure every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the school's SEND provision.
Advise and support colleagues on inclusive teaching practices.
Work closely with parents, external agencies, and local authorities.
Monitor pupil progress and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
Contribute to whole-school improvement as part of the leadership team.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards where applicable).
Leadership experience within a school setting.
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice.
A commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes for all learners.
