Head of Physics:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Physics to join one of our outstanding schools in Wolverhampton in September. As the Head of Physics, you will lead the Physics department, inspire students, and contribute to the academic excellence of our institution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative Physics curriculum
- Teaching KS3/4/5
- Lead and mentor a team of Physics teachers
- Provide educational leadership within the Physics department
- Monitor student progress and ensure academic success
- Organize and oversee Physics-related events and competitions
- Collaborate with other department heads to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities
Qualifications:
- Degree in Physics or related field (QTS)
- Previous experience in teaching Physics at the high school or college level
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to educate and inspire students in the field of Physics
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technology integration
Salary:
£30,000.00 - £46,525.00 Annually
TMS-UPS plus TLR2b £5,349
