As part of our exciting expansion, Smile Education is offering recent graduates or career changers the chance to join one of the UK’s leading education recruitment agencies as an Associate Recruitment Consultant. Whether you studied business, psychology, drama, sports, or something else entirely or just looking for a change of direction in your career – if you’ve got energy, ambition and people skills, we’ll give you the tools to succeed.
 
Starting basic salary: £25,250
Realistic 1st Year OTE: £30–35k (top performers earn £100k+)
Location: City centre office with hybrid flexibility
Hours: 7.30am – 4.30pm (reduced hours on offer in school holidays!)
Career Path: Clear progression into senior and management roles

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
This is a sales-focused career, but don’t worry – we’ll teach you everything you need to know! You’ll:

• Build relationships with schools and recruit teachers for permanent and temporary roles
• Use job boards, social media, and interviews to find and place the best candidates
• Take part in cold calling, business development, and full 360 recruitment
• Work towards weekly goals with the support of an experienced team

• Conducting telephone, virtual, and face-to-face interviews with candidates.

 
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A GRADUATE/ASSOCIATE
You don’t need prior recruitment experience — we’re looking for potential, not expert. We want associates who are:

• Confident communicators and natural relationship builders
• Goal-oriented, driven, and eager to prove themselves
• Problem-solvers with a positive, proactive attitude
• Resilient, team-focused, and open to feedback
• Full UK driving licence holders (or actively learning)
