Smile Education are currently recruiting Sports Coaches to work across secondary schools in Telford and the surrounding areas.
Are you passionate about sport and enjoy working with young people?
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coaches to support secondary schools across Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced coaches, sports graduates, aspiring PE teachers or individuals with a strong sporting background who are looking to gain valuable experience in education.
We have a range of flexible opportunities available, including full-time, part-time, day-to-day and longer-term positions to suit your availability.
The RoleAs a Sports Coach, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the delivery of PE lessons across secondary schools.
• Encouraging students to develop confidence, teamwork and resilience through sport.
• Promoting positive behaviour and student engagement.
• Organising and delivering lunchtime activities and extracurricular clubs.
• Supporting school fixtures, competitions and sporting events.
• Working alongside teachers and other school staff.
• Building positive relationships with students and encouraging participation.

Who We're Looking ForWe would love to hear from you if you have:

• A genuine passion for sport and working with young people.
• A background in sports coaching, PE, youth work or a related field.
• Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
• A sports-related degree or qualification (desirable but not essential).
• The confidence and enthusiasm to engage and motivate students.
• A reliable, flexible and adaptable approach to work.

Sports graduates, experienced coaches and aspiring PE teachers are particularly encouraged to apply.
