Smile Education are currently recruiting for Sports Coaches to support secondary schools across Telford and Shropshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for sport, physical activity and working with young people. Whether you're an experienced Sports Coach, a graduate, an aspiring PE teacher or someone with a strong sporting background, we'd love to hear from you.
We have opportunities available on a full-time, part-time and flexible basis, with both day-to-day and long-term assignments available.
The RoleAs a Sports Coach, you will:

• Support PE lessons across secondary schools.
• Encourage students to develop confidence, teamwork and resilience through sport.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement during lessons.
• Support students both in and outside the classroom.
• Assist with extracurricular clubs, fixtures and lunchtime activities where required.
• Work alongside teaching staff to create a positive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for sport and working with young people.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• Sports coaching, PE, youth work or school-based experience is beneficial.
• Graduates with a sporting background are encouraged to apply.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and confident when building relationships with students.
• A willingness to work across secondary schools in Telford and Shropshire.
