Education are currently working with secondary schools across the Melton Mowbray area who are looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to support on a flexible basis from August 2026.

This is a great opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors, sports coaches, youth workers, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain more experience within schools.

The role offers flexibility around your availability, with opportunities to work 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week depending on what works best for you.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences and ensuring students remain on task with the work that has been set. You’ll cover a variety of subjects across KS3 and KS4, so no two days are ever the same.

The Role:

• Flexible Cover Supervisor opportunities across secondary schools in Melton Mowbray
• Work available 2–5 days per week
• Covering a range of subjects across KS3 and KS4
• Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students engaged in lessons
• Following lesson plans provided by teaching staff
• Opportunities for long-term and permanent positions
