Smile Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Redditch to recruit a Cover Supervisor / Cover Teacher to join their team in Jan 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education, enjoys working with young people, and wants to make a real difference in the classroom.
About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences and deliver pre-prepared lessons
- Support students 1:1 or in small groups to aid learning and progress
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with young people (preferably in a school setting)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A flexible, proactive, and supportive attitude
- A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed
- A degree or relevant qualification (advantageous but not essential)
- Work with a supportive, friendly secondary school team
- Gain valuable classroom experience in a professional setting
- Receive ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant
