We run two First Aid for Mental Health courses through our training partners Cultivate Coaching and Teach Well Alliance. The courses aim to increase your understanding of mental health and give you the tools and techniques to support those with mental health issues in your school, academy or college.
First Aid Award (FAA) First Aid for Mental Health - 1 day 6 hours
A basic course in First Aid in Mental Health, tailored to all staff working in schools.
First Aid Award (FAA) Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health - 2 days 12 hours
A comprehensive course in Supervising and Leading First Aid in Mental Health, tailored to staff who have a lead role in implementing a culture of staff/pupil wellbeing and mental health in schools but are not qualified teachers.

There are three reasons why you should choose our First Aid for Mental Health courses:
Both trainers have first-hand experience of working in a school. Suneta is a former headteacher, with a career spanning over 20 years in Primary schools, as a teacher, SENDCo and senior leader, while Steve has over 40 years' experience in secondary education, including as Head of Drama, Head of English, Assistant Principal and a local authority consultant with a School Improvement team.
Each of our first aid for mental health qualifications are valid for three years, after which time, you may retake the course to retain the qualification.
Courses vary in price and start from £99 per person, however, discounts are available for participants within the same school or trust. Enquire using the form below for more information.
