Teacher of Science:
We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join on of our schools based in Telford. They are looking to bring on a science teacher starting in September for a one year contract, four days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and be dedicated to fostering a love of learning in students.
Responsibilities:
- Educate students in various scientific disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry and Physcics
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Provide individualized instruction to students who require extra support, including those in Special Education
- Conduct scientific research projects and experiments in the laboratory setting
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
Skills:
- Strong background in science education
- Teaching qualification (QTS)
- Proficiency in behaviour management to create a conducive learning environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to conduct scientific research projects and experiments
- Experience in tutoring students for academic improvement
