Multi-Academy Trust Practitioners

Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a large Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) to support with recruitment across a number of schools within the Manchester area. We are currently seeking graduates, experienced Class Teachers and Early Career Teachers, across both core and foundation subjects.


We are currently recruiting for a number of exciting positions across this large MAT, including new and dynamic roles which are designed to adapt and grow with applicants, supporting their career growth and progression as an education professional. We are currently seeking graduates, to work as academic mentors or as part of a graduate teaching scheme in partnership with Smile Education Northwest. These fluid roles are designed to support recent graduates with niche subject specialisms or graduates looking to gain experience before taking on teacher training. Essentially allowing applicants to ‘earn while you learn’. Graduates seeking a more pastoral route into education are also encouraged to apply as dynamic positions are available within behaviour mentorship, working as part of the inclusion team or reporting directly to the Pastoral Support Manager within each school site. Additionally, we are seeking both Early Career Teachers and experienced Class Teachers across all core and foundation subjects. For ECT’s systems are already in place to support those working through induction terms. For more experienced teachers, seeking career growth and development, pathways are already in place for clear career progression, including pathways into middle leadership.


This is a fantastic opportunity to benefit from working as part of a large Multi Academy Trust. Applicants will benefit from links to many different sites, providing excellent training opportunities and allowing professional to broaden their pedagogy. Schools within this trust are located across Manchester offering excellent rates of pay and roles on attractive contractual basis. The expected salary range for the above-mentioned roles spans from £90-235 per day, depending on roles and experience.


What to expect from applicants?


We would like applicants to be either recent graduates, having graduated on or after July 2022. Graduates should have a real drive and passion to work within the education sector in their chosen specialism. Otherwise, applicants should Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), both experienced teachers and ECT’s are encouraged to apply.
