Smile Education – Greater Manchester are currently seeking a Cover Supervisors to help support in a Secondary Schools in Manchester, and surrounding areas.

There are multiple roles available on a full-time, interim basis. If you are an experienced HLTA / Cover Supervisor who has supported pupils of Secondary or Primary age in a similar role or school setting and are either local to or available to travel to Manchester, surrounding areas would be an advantage.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant UK teaching qualification, or working towards – QTS / PGCE
• Experience working within a school / classroom, either paid or voluntary is essential.   
• Up to date Safeguarding training – can be provided
• Ideally have knowledge of Greater Manchester LA procedures
• Warm and caring personality, friendly and able to relate well to children and adults
• Organised with a positive outlook and a “can do” approach
• Exceptionally dedicated to supporting primary age children
• Be able to manage and motivate a team

A video meeting with a Smile representative will be arranged for applicants as a first stage interview. Once attended, a job description and application form can be provided, and a tour of the setting can be arranged.
